On January 26th, URA Raumbild workshop #1 took place in Berlin in a hybrid form, focusing on collaborative works on sustainable future strategies for Beiyang Town and Huangyan-Taizhou region. In order to give the participants a feeling for the temporal dimension of the Raumbild approach as early as possible in the process, the workshop dispensed with a comprehensive spatial analysis discussion, but focused more on the identification of specific future challenges and the sketching of concrete pathways for sustainable spatial development.
In the second part of the workshop, the presented findings are discussed and mapped by the whole group. Based on the beforehand identified spaces, actors and places, the first interdisciplinary pathways for sustainable spatial developments are defined. Finally, the results are presented and discussed, and further work steps are jointly agreed.
