On the last session of Thursday Talks, Rizqa Hidayani, an Urban Planner and Program Manager at Kota Kita, gave a presentation via Zoom on the topic: Towards Climate Resilient Semarang – From the city scale to resilient kampung (neighborhood).

Rizqa is an urban planner with a focus on building inclusivity and resilience in the development of cities. She believes that everybody in the city has equal rights to have a voice in the development of their cities. Currently, she is a program manager at Kota Kita and has been engaged in urban participatory planning activities and research since 2013 – in the fields of climate change adaptation and resilience, community development, and informality in 10 different cities in Indonesia.
